1. Are pets allowed in the parks?

Pets are allowed in the parks but must be on a leash at all times. However, there is a leash-free zone across Andrea's Pass in Johnson Park.

2. Can I get a refund on my reservation if it rains or gets too cold?

No. Refunds are not granted based on inclement weather.

4. How long is the park open?

All City parks are open daily from 6 a.m. until 12 midnight.

5. Can I pay for my reservation online?

Not at this time. Payments can be made in person, over the phone, or mailed to the Parks and Recreation Department.

6. Can I reserve any other ball field besides the Johnson Park ball field?

No. The Johnson Park ball field is the ONLY field that can be reserved. The other fields throughout the City are operated by private athletic organizations.

7. Can I get an alcohol permit without reserving a pavilion?

No. Alcohol consumption permits can only be issued along with a paid park reservation.

8. Do you have any pictures of the parks?

Yes. Please feel free to browse our site for more pictures.

9. What should I do if someone is sitting at my reserved location?

Please show them your reservation permit or receipt and ask them to leave nicely. If they refuse, please feel free to dial 830-693-3611 to report the situation.

10. What is the cancellation policy for a park pavilion reservation?

We must receive a cancellation request in writing at least 7-days prior to the event in order to receive a refund.

11. Can I park my RV or camp in a tent overnight in the parks?

City ordinance prohibits overnight camping within any publicly owned park or playground within the city limits.

12. How many hours can I reserve a park pavilion?

All events hosted in a City park must take place between the hours of 6 a.m. and 12 a.m. Customers are free to hold their event at any time during these operational hours.

13. Can I set up a bounce house or water slide without a park reservation?

No. Customers must have a valid reservation to set up inflatable attractions.

14. Are there any special requirements in order to have a family reunion?

Any group or organization with an attendance of one hundred (100) or more must keep the City parks free of litter for the duration and at the conclusion of the event.

15. Can I bring my own BBQ grill to the park? Is there a grill size restriction?

Yes. Grills are allowed in the parks and there are no size restrictions. However, large grills on trailers are NOT allowed to park on the grass at any time.

16. Is there a fee to use the boat ramps?

No. The boat ramps at Johnson Park and Lakeside Park are free to the public.

17. Can I renew my boat or fishing license at the Parks and Recreation Department?

18. Am I allowed to swim in Lake Marble Falls?

Yes. Please keep in mind that swimming in any natural body of water is at your own risk.

19. Is there any overnight camping available in Marble Falls parks?

There are no overnight camping facilities in Marble Falls city parks; therefore overnight camping is not allowed. The parks are open for day use from 6 am to 12 midnight.
