The City of Marble Falls invites residents and visitors to gather at Lakeside Park on Friday, July 4, 2025, for a full evening of community celebration featuring live music, food trucks, and a stunning fireworks show over Lake Marble Falls. Festivities begin earlier in the day with free admission to the Lakeside Pool from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, picnic blankets, and enjoy an evening of fun, food, and entertainment in the park.

Event Highlights:

  •  Live Music by Dysfunkshun Junkshun – 7:00 p.m.
  •  Fireworks Show – 9:15 p.m. (18-minute show)
  •  Food Trucks On-Site – Featuring Lupe Tortilla, Miss Vickie’s, ATX Ice Cream, and more
  •  Free Pool Access – Lakeside Pool open from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.

For public safety, Lake Marble Falls will be partially closed to boat traffic from 5:00 p.m. to 12 a.m. Boats will be permitted on the water during this time, but through traffic will be prohibited in the area where the fireworks barge is positioned.

  • Boaters needing to access the east side of the lake (Johnson Park Boat Ramp and beyond) should be east of Backbone Creek before 5:00 p.m.
  • Those needing to exit via Lakeshore Drive Boat Ramp or reach properties west of that point must be west of the closure area by 5:00 p.m.

The Marble Falls Fire Rescue and Police Departments, along with Parks, EMS, and Public Works staff, will be coordinating lake safety and traffic control throughout the event. After the fireworks show, temporary road closures will help manage the large crowd exiting Lakeside Park. Please allow extra time and follow posted signage or directions from on-site personnel. Due to ongoing hotel and conference center construction, the roadway between Buena Vista and Yett Street is closed. All vehicle access must enter the park area from Main Street to Buena Vista.

In the event of inclement weather, the rainout date is scheduled for Saturday, July 5, following the same schedule.

“We look forward to welcoming families and friends for another safe and memorable Fourth of July celebration,” said Director of Parks and Recreation Lacey Dingman “This event is a cherished tradition in Marble Falls, and we’re proud to provide a night of music, fireworks, and community spirit.”
