A Community Push: Marble Falls Residents Help Usher in New Fire Truck

Home - News Flash Posted on June 06, 2025

The Marble Falls community gathered for a meaningful celebration this week as residents, city leaders, and firefighters joined together in a ceremonial “push-in” of the city’s newest fire truck. The event, held at the recently renovated Marble Falls Fire Rescue station at 700 Avenue N, honored a time-honored tradition while showcasing the department’s upgraded facilities.

The push-in ceremony, where attendees physically helped push the new engine into the station bay, symbolizes the vehicle’s official welcome into service. This longstanding public tradition reinforces the deep connection between Marble Falls Fire Rescue and the community it serves.

“This ceremony was a meaningful way to welcome new equipment, but more importantly, it brought our community together,” said Marble Falls Fire Rescue Chief Thomas Crane. “It was a reminder that the strength of our department comes from the support and involvement of the people we serve.”

The event also doubled as an open house, giving residents the chance to tour the newly renovated fire station, explore equipment, and engage with fire personnel. The upgrades at the station enhance both daily operations and the department’s ability to serve the growing community of Marble Falls.
