[ARCHIVED] Arbor Day Celebration

The City of Marble Falls Parks and Recreation Department will host an Arbor Day Celebration on Tuesday, November 12, at 9:00 am.   The celebration will take place near the streetscape on Fourth Street between Main Street and Avenue J.

As Texans, we value our trees and the benefits they provide each of us daily. Benefits like clean air and water improve our health and save us money on energy bills. We encourage residents in our community to join in on the fun by planting native trees, a prominent and beautiful feature of our Hill Country landscape.

Mayor Rhodes will attend to read the City of Marble Falls Arbor Day Proclamation. After the proclamation, the Parks and Recreation Department will plant 12 Texas native trees within the streetscape.

The public is encouraged to attend.
