The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) issued a Finding of No Significant Impact on June 26, 2024 for the City of Marble Falls’ (City) Wastewater Treatment Plant Relocation, Purple Pipe System Extension, and Direct Potable Reuse Pilot Projects, Burnet County, Texas, Flood Infrastructure Fund and Clean Water State Revolving Fund, TWDB Project Nos. 40131, 73928, and 73917. The City conducted a public meeting for the proposed project on February 8, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the City of Marble Falls, City Council Chambers, 800 Third Street, Marble Falls, Texas, to discuss the City’s proposed projects. One of the purposes of the meeting was to discuss the potential environmental impacts of the proposed projects and alternatives to them.
An Environmental Information Document was prepared for the proposed projects and is available for public review for 30 days at Marble Falls City Hall, 800 Third Street, Marble Falls, TX 78654 and on the City’s website https://marblefallstx.gov/DocumentCenter/View/9357/FINAL_City-of-Marble-Falls_TWDB_EID-and-Compiled-Appendices.
