Coronavirus / COVID-19 is an extremely contagious virus that spreads easily through person-to-person contact. Federal and state authorities recommend social distancing as a means to prevent the spread of the virus. COVID-19 can lead to severe illness, personal injury, permanent disability, and death. Participating in park programs or accessing park facilities could increase the risk of contracting COVID-19. Marble Falls Parks and Recreation Department in no way warrants that COVID-19 infection will not occur through participation in park programs or accessing park facilities.

The Lakeside Pavilion is located at 307 Buena Vista in Lakeside Park, overlooking beautiful Lake Marble Falls. The pavilion is approximately 6,200 square feet and seats approximately 400 persons for performance seating and 320 for banquet seating. Official Certificate of Occupancy Design Occupant Load is 1,330 standing or 443 seated.  Reservations for the Lakeside Pavilion are accepted up to one year-to-date in advance, payment in full is due within 10 days that the reservation request was submitted.  

The Pavilion will be rented on a first-come, first-served basis. A reservation for the Pavilion will be considered confirmed only upon the receipt of a signed license agreement accompanied by the appropriate fees.

Services and Amenities

The Pavilion's basic license includes the following amenities:

  • All utilities
  • Heat and/or air conditioning
  • Tables and chairs (36 60-inch round, 18 96-inch rectangular tables, 400 chairs)
  • Public address (PA) system with wired and wireless microphones, audio/video system, and podium. The audio/video equipment has limited capacity and capability, and may not be suitable for all uses.
  • Restrooms
  • Commercial kitchen
  • Facility cleaning service
  • Wireless internet

RENTAL HOURS

The Pavilion will be available for events between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m., which shall constitute a rental day.

SETUPS AND DECORATIONS

The licensee shall be responsible for setting up and arranging tables and chairs. 

KITCHEN FACILITIES 

The kitchen is a professional catering kitchen with stainless steel appliances, work tables, and serving areas. Appliances include: side-by-side reach-in refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, two (2) gas convection ovens, gas range, ice maker, three (3) sinks (prep sink, two-compartment sink, and hand sink), a hot food table, and a mobile heated cabinet. 

GLASS CONTAINERS 

All glass containers must remain inside the pavilion. The Parks and Recreation Ordinance prohibits the use of glass containers within the City parks.

LIVE AND/OR AMPLIFIED MUSIC 

The City of Marble Falls has a noise ordinance; however, events, public or private, held in the Lakeside Park Pavilion which has entered into a license agreement with the City to reserve said facility and for which all fees and deposits have been paid are exempt. The noise levels for such events shall not exceed 110 decibels when measured at a distance of approximately one hundred (100) feet from the location where the noise is generated.

*Residents are those who live inside the incorporated, taxable city limits of Marble Falls and must be named as the licensee on the contract and the name on the form of payment.

Facility Use Fees are discounted by 50% for charitable non-profit organizations. (IRS Determination Letter must be provided.)
 

CANCELATIONS

Reservation cancelation by the licensee must be made in writing on or before thirty (30) days prior to any scheduled event for any refund. If a reservation is canceled after such a time or the person does not use the pavilion on the scheduled date, the license fee shall be forfeited. Bad weather is not grounds for refund or cancelation. Refunds will be granted using the following parameters:

  1. 30 days - 90 days: 25 % of licensee fees
  2. 90 days - 180 days: 50% of licensee fees
  3. Greater than 180 days: 100%, minus a $25 administrative fee
