Federal and state authorities recommend social distancing as a means to prevent the spread of the virus. COVID-19 can lead to severe illness, personal injury, permanent disability, and death. Participating in park programs or accessing park facilities could increase the risk of contracting COVID-19. Marble Falls Parks and Recreation Department in no way warrants that COVID-19 infection will not occur through participation in park programs or accessing park facilities.

Johnson Park is located in the pecan shaded area where Backbone Creek and Whitman Branch flow into Lake Marble Falls. The park is enjoyed throughout the year by both residents and visitors. There is also a designated leash free zone for dogs located in Johnson Park. Events held in Johnson Park include the Lakefest Drag Boat Races, Highland Lakes CASI Chili Pod Cookoff, Mayfest, City-wide Garage Sale, Children’s Day and Scoutarama.

Note:  Reserving "All Pavilions and Amphitheater" includes the three covered pavilions and the amphitheater/stage only, and does not include the Johnson Park Ball Field.  The Ball Field must be reserved with a separate request.
