Johnson Park is located in the pecan shaded area where Backbone Creek and Whitman Branch flow into Lake Marble Falls. The park is enjoyed throughout the year by both residents and visitors. There is also a designated leash-free zone for dogs located in Johnson Park. Events held in Johnson Park include the Lakefest Drag Boat Races, Highland Lakes CASI Chili Pod Cookoff, Mayfest, City-wide Garage Sale, Children’s Day, and Scoutarama.

Facility use fees are discounted by 50% for charitable non-profit organizations. (IRS Determination Letter must be provided.)
Note: Reserving "All Pavilions and Amphitheater" includes the three covered pavilions, the amphitheater/stage, and does include the Johnson Park Ball Field.
Reservations are accepted up to one year in advance and payment is due within 10 days of the date the request was submitted. Requests will not be approved within 10 days of the requested event date, use will be first come first serve.
