Goodwill Partnership/Donations

MARBLE FALLS, Texas (October 24, 2018) – Thank you to our community for the assistance and support of the people impacted by the recent flooding in Llano and Burnet Counties.  We are grateful for the outpouring of support for our communities, and know that our generous neighbors want to help by donating items to assist with recovery efforts.  While we truly appreciate these gifts, please know that sometimes these well-intended donations can go unused and cause a logistical burden on the local community dealing with a disaster.

Llano and Burnet County have partnered with Goodwill Central Texas to better streamline this outpouring of support so that, together, we can better assist our citizens and help them get on the road to recovery.

Anyone wanting to donate should take clothing and household items directly to the following Goodwill Central Texas locations:

  • 1420 E. Main St., Fredericksburg, TX 78624
  • 2510 US HWY 281, Marble Falls, TX 78654
  • 1441 US-183, Leander, TX 78641
  • 1901 Ranch Road 620 South, Lakeway, TX 78734

Goodwill will measure the increase in donations at these stores and gift cards will be disbursed through the recovery efforts to those in need to shop for themselves.  Goodwill will calculate the donations at the four participating locations in the service area closest to those affected.

Thank you in advance for your donations and support of Llano and Burnet Counties, and Goodwill Central Texas.

Distribution of the Goodwill cards is being handled at:

First United Methodist Church in Marble Falls
1101 Bluebonnet Dr.
Marble Falls, TX 78654
