The City of Marble Falls Parks and Recreation Department announces the second annual Recreational Youth Basketball Program beginning Winter of 2023. An eight-game season is available for boys and girls four to eleven years of age who live in or outside the city limits of Marble Falls.
- September 8 – Registration Opens at www.MarbleFallsRecreation.com
- November 10 – Last day to register
- November 17 – Team formations announced via email
- November 29 – Practices begin weeknights at MFISD school campuses
- January 6 through February 24 – Games are played on Saturdays at MFISD school campuses
Registration is $75 per child, including the uniform, team photo, and award. “We are thrilled to be able to bring this program back to the community this winter, and it would not be possible without the support of the Marble Falls ISD providing access to the school gyms,” said Lacey Dingman, Director of Parks and Recreation. “We look forward to the growth and success of this program for years to come.”
The Parks and Recreation Department is looking for coaches to assist with developing the athletes and leagues and will hire youth basketball officials to officiate games starting January 2024.
