The City of Marble Falls is proud to announce the grand opening of their new Downtown Harmony Park, located at 800 Third Street, Marble Falls, Texas 78654. A community celebration will be held Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 4 o’clock p.m. in the new park.
The addition of the Harmony Park expands the experiences within the Downtown area allowing for inclusive play for multiple ages. Playing music with others fosters a sense of belonging and builds community while building reasoning skills and cognitive development. It enhances confidence, encourages creativity and self-expression while reducing anxiety and elevating your mood.
“Using simplified musical principles that ensure immediate musical success” Richard Cooke created Freenotes. “These highly durable real musical instruments have “No Wrong Notes” so there is never a discordant sound.” This allows everyone the opportunity to create his or her own rhythms and patterns with ease. People can then fully experience the freedom and enjoyment of creating and playing music.
“We are super excited to bring this unique and meaningful opportunity to Downtown Marble Falls. I am inspired by the amount of enthusiasm that the project has created amongst the people of our community,” Caleb Kraenzel, Assistant City Manager.
“The Harmony Park is a great addition to our parks. It will be a place of relaxation and musical creativity for all ages and abilities.” Robert Moss, Parks and Recreation Director
“We are extremely happy to have something for kids to do on Historic Main Street! The Harmony Park will not only be fun for locals, but for tourists as well.” Rae Jones, Owner of Rae’s R-bar and Grill
