Brush Collection

What is the Brush Collection Program?

  • Brush Pick Up

  • Brush Drop Off

Brush Pick Up

The Public Works Department picks up brush, tree limbs, and yard clippings on a scheduled basis throughout the entire city for residents and property owners within the City Limits. The Department does not pick up bags of leaves.

Pick Up Frequency

The City is split into four quadrants. Brush is collected from each quadrant once every four months.

Pick Up Schedule

Residents should neatly place their brush along the curb near their residence the Sunday night before their scheduled pick up.

Residents and property owners who wish to have their brush picked up outside of the regularly scheduled pick up will be charged a fee of $75.00 or may dispose of the brush by dropping the brush off at the Colt Circle drop off location at no charge.

Contact the Public Works Department at 830-798-6260 for information regarding 2022 brush pick up.

Brush Pile Guidelines

Please place brush by the curb away from mailboxes, utility lines, and other obstructions.
