Services and Responsibilities

The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) division of the City of Marble Falls is part of the Development Services Department and is responsible for the collection, maintenance, and analysis of city related data.

On these pages you can find the most requested information that the GIS division maintains, including the official zoning map, municipal boundaries, floodplain, and many other types of location data.  Information for the city's GIS is drawn from many sources, such as recorded plats, building permits, construction plans, and field observation.

911 Addressing

The GIS division is responsible for assigning 9-1-1 addresses in accordance with Capital Area Council of Governments (CAPCOG) standards. For more information on addressing, change of address procedures, or any related questions, please contact the GIS division.
