****4th OF JULY INFORMATION FOR BOATERS****

As usual, Lake Marble Falls will be open on the 4th of July for your holiday enjoyment. However, there are some changes this year when it comes to the fireworks show time. This year, the fireworks will be launched from a barge that will be placed at the center of the lake about 6:00 pm. There will be a 100 ft safety perimeter around the barge. At approximately 8:30 pm, buoy lines will be strung from the south bank of the lake to the north bank of the lake on each side of the barge. Once the buoy lines are drawn, boats will not be able to transit the lake until after the fireworks show. All ramps will still be accessible. Please be sure to be on the side of your choice before 8:30 pm to enjoy the show! Please See Map

Kari's Law

Kari’s Law requires Texas businesses and organizations with a multi-line telephone system (MLTS) or private branch exchange to provide direct access to 9-1-1 services without callers having to first dial an outside-line prefix. Businesses, schools, hospitals and other organizations that use MLTS’s in their office are responsible for knowing and addressing compliance with the law, but CAPCOG can help those organizations test their compliance and resolve MLTS issues.
